BELOTERO® HYDRO is a sterile, transparent gel that removes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, rehydrates the skin, and revitalizes facial volume. It specifically focuses on deep rehydration, restoring youth and radiance to aging skin.
This dermal filler introduces a biocompatible substance, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, into the skin to improve its overall elasticity and youthfulness. The innate hydrating ability of this substance helps to provide moisture and smoothness to the face, neck, decolletage, and backs of the hands.
Hyaluronic acid – Naturally found in the body, this compound is known for holding moisture within the skin. As the aging process occurs, the concentration of natural hyaluronic acid depletes. Administering new hyaluronic acid into the dermis provides deep hydration, while also helping to restore the skin’s natural volume, elasticity, and texture. Because this solution is bioresorbable, it is safe to use and comes with no chance of rejection.
Glycerol – This formula’s addition of this compound helps to prevent hyaluronic acid from rapid degradation. It is also a humectant, which attracting water to the skin’s surface for added hydration. Glycerol also enhances the hydration of stratum corneum (the skin’s outer layer) and the structure of the epidermal barrier. This also helps to increase hyaluronic acid’s durability in the treated area.
